During the last ten years, my work has focused on building web services, corporate applications and interactive television services, from user research, to interaction design, usability and delivery. Prior to that, I worked for four years as a business analyst in the financial services sector.
I joined Verizon Laboratories (Boston, Massachusetts) in October of 2004, where I was in charge of defining new web and interactive television services. I also focused on analysing and improving the customer experience of many of the existing services provided by Verizon, whether in the broadband, directories, gaming or music spaces.
Prior to Verizon Labs, I worked for five years in consulting, designing customised corporate and ecommerce applications for clients both in Spain and in the US, including Fidelity Investments, Staples and Vodafone.
Prior to that, I worked as a business and sector analyst in the financial services industry in Spain and also New York, where I worked in the private banking department of Spain's Banco Central Hispano.
I received a MSc in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University in 2002 and a BSc in Finance from Boston University in 1992.
