Who wants to use this portal? What types of games should be available? What information about each game should be available? Will this be used by a narrow segment of the population or by a wide range of individuals? What game pad should be used with the portal? What about the remote control: should it work with the games offering?
We needed to answer a number of questions: who, what, why, for how long… in order to shape the content, style, interaction model and pace of the portal. Through interviews and lab usability studies we were able to identify an opportunity to deliver a new experience to families with young children.
